The Minong Flowage Association is governed by volunteer board of permanent and seasonal residents who share a common commitment to the health and future of the flowage.
Board members are elected by the membership at the MFA's annual meeting, held each June at Wascott Town Hall. The board meets quarterly throughout the year and is responsible for financial oversight, grant applications, lake management decisions, and communications with property owners and regulatory agencies.
If you're interested in getting involved — whether on the board or as a committee volunteer — we'd love to hear from you. Reach out through the Contact page.
The MFA is governed by bylaws adopted by the membership and last updated in 2024. They define the rights of members, the structure of the board, and the rules under which the association operates. A few provisions are worth knowing as a property owner on the flowage.
These highlights cover two key provisions. The full bylaws govern all association operations, membership rights, meeting procedures, and amendment processes.
Read the Full Bylaws (PDF)Official minutes from all MFA board and annual meetings, going back to 2022. Posted following board approval at the subsequent quarterly meeting.
The MFA holds quarterly board meetings open to all members and property owners. The annual meeting takes place the second Saturday of June at Minong Town Hall. Check the Events calendar for upcoming dates.
