  Agenda Highlights

  Aquatic Invasive Species Update — The Lake Management Committee will present a full update on Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM) control efforts, including our current permit applications and the path forward following the DNR's denial of our 2026 grant application. This will include a discussion of our Save the Flowage fundraising campaign and how member decisions will shape our options.

  A detailed agenda will be distributed to all members approximately 7–10 days before the meeting.

  Voting & Membership

  Only current members may vote. If your membership has lapsed or you haven't yet joined, you can renew or register at the welcome desk the morning of the meeting — or get ahead of it now:

• 🃏 MVP+CP Pontoon Poker Run — August 8, 2026 Benefiting the Minong Flowage Association & Cranberry Lake Association

  Mark your calendars and load up the pontoon — Marsh's Viewpoint Resort is bringing back the MVP Pontoon Poker Run on Saturday, August 8, 2026, and this year it's bigger than ever! This year, the event will be co-sponsored by Circle Pines. 

  Here's how it works: purchase a card ($20 each — buy as many as you like!) from any participating location starting around June 1st. On event day, grab your crew, follow the map on your card to posted signs around the lake, snap a selfie at each one, and make it back to MVP by 7:00 PM for the card deal. Half the pot goes to the winner — the other half is split between the Minong Flowage Association and the Cranberry Lake Association to support the lakes we all love.

  With more bars and businesses selling cards than ever before, there are plenty of chances to play and even more chances to win. Stay tuned for the full list of card locations and additional details coming in the next few weeks.
